What’s it about?

This is a book that looks at the steps needed to effectively plan a classroom layout. It includes thoughts about where to place desks and working spaces, etc.

It has extensive photographs for people who are visual like me. The book is well organised and easy to locate ideas. There are some good ideas for planning that are easy to make and adapt.

It is very much same-same from other sources.

My Recommendation…

Borrow It
This is a comprehensive collection of 300+ photographs for planning out a classroom but I found that most of the classrooms are very large and have lots of space when compared to the size of Australian classrooms – here we are lucky to fit enough tables in the room! Most of these ideas can be found in similar forms on the internet, such as Pinterest. It is reasonably priced for the pages but I suggest borrowing it first before making the investment.
