‘We’ are Jennifer, an individual blogger. Miss Jenny’s Classroom is the blog; our website address is: https://www.missjennysclassroom.com. Privacy policies aren’t the most captivating read but I’d appreciate it if you took the time to read this one!

    When you register for my e-newsletter, I collect personal information. I use that information for a few reasons:
    – to tell you about the latest posts on my website.
    – to contact you if I need to obtain or provide additional information.
    – To confirm that my records are right.
    – To check every now and then that you are happy and satisfied.I DO NOT rent, trade or sell my email lists with ANYONE.I use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver my newsletter. I gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help monitor and improve my newsletter. If you wish to find out more then please read MailChimp’s privacy notice.You can unsubscribe from the updates at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email received or by emailing me.
  • Comments
    When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form (Name, email, and website (optional)), and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Gravatar Privacy Policy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.Visitor comments are checked through the automated spam detection service, Jetpack.
  • Contact Forms
    A contact form and email address are provided in order to contact me directly. Information collected includes your name and email address in order for me to reply. Emails are only stored for 30 days once an enquiry has been satisified and then deleted unless an ongoing communication/arrangement is in place.
  • Embedded content from other websites
    Posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

 

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
